December Charity Spotlight: Toys For Tots

This Holiday Season, Frog Pad Fixers — your veteran-owned, family-focused handyman team serving Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities — is proud to spotlight Toys for Tots as our featured charity.

All month long we’ll be donating 5% of the price of our labor costs to support the great mission of Toys for Tots — from emergency home repairs to bathroom updates and small remodels; it’s our way of giving back and honoring the Navy values that guide our work.

What is Toys for Tots?

Toys for Tots is a nationwide charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that works to bring the joy of Christmas to children in need.

Their mission is simple but powerful: collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season and distribute them to less fortunate children in local communities, helping ensure every child experiences hope, warmth, and happiness during Christmas.

Beyond the toys themselves, Toys for Tots aims to deliver a message of compassion and unity, reminding families that their community cares—while also fostering a spirit of giving and patriotism through the continued involvement of Marines, volunteers, and local organizations.
